With three decades of successful cosmetic formulation experience and various technical management roles in cosmetics, Emily combines scientific excellence with creative passion working to the highest ethical scientific principles, putting her heart and wisdom into product development. Emily B. Reed has graduate qualifications in BS in Chemistry, Postgraduate in MS Chemistry in Food Science, HEC in Cosmetic Science (SCS DL-UK), Cosmetic Science and Ingredients (UCLA), membership Alumni (London Institute) in Cosmetics and active member in Society of Cosmetic Chemists (Southern California) and Beauty Industry West (Los Angeles).
Emily was a Formulating Chemist and Research and Innovation Product Developer for:
KMS-California and Global Hair Care, Gillette Corp/Jafra Cosmetics Worldwide R&D and most recently John Paul Mitchell Systems, hair care and skin care. As a consultant, Emily has worked with various companies including GNC-Amphora-Live Well Personal Care, The GAP, Banana Republic and Nordstrom.
